This page explains what 23AD Basketball Club collects through this website, why we collect it, and what families can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email info@23adbasketballclub.com and we'll answer directly.

What we collect

Only what the registration form asks for, and only when someone chooses to send it:

• Athlete first and last name, age, height, position, current school and graduation year
• Athlete social media handle, if the family chooses to provide one
• Parent or guardian first and last name, phone number and email address
• The program the family is interested in, and their acceptance of the participation waiver

We do not ask for payment details, government identification, medical records, or an athlete's home address through this website.

Why we collect it

To contact the parent or guardian, schedule an evaluation, place the athlete in the right training group, and keep a record that the participation waiver was accepted. For athletes in College Pathways, we also use it to build a recruiting profile and to correspond with college coaching staffs on the athlete's behalf — always with the family's knowledge.

Athletes under 18

Most of the athletes we train are minors, so the registration form is written to be completed by a parent or guardian, and the waiver must be accepted by that adult. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child without a parent or guardian involved. If you believe a minor submitted information without a parent's knowledge, email us and we will delete it.

Who sees it

23AD directors, trainers and coaches who need it to do their work. We do not sell information, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We share an athlete's information with a college coach, camp, or partner organization only when the family has asked us to, or has agreed to it as part of College Pathways.

Services this site uses

• Form delivery. Registrations are sent to 23AD by email, either through the parent's own email program or through a form-delivery service that passes the message to our inbox.
• Google Fonts. Typefaces load from Google's servers, which means Google receives the request.
• YouTube. Some athlete film may be embedded from YouTube, which sets its own cookies when a video is played.

What this site stores on your device

No advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves two small preferences in your browser: whether you have already watched the opening sequence in this tab, and whether you have muted sound. Clearing your browser data removes both.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and waiver records for as long as the athlete trains with us, and for a period afterward for insurance and record-keeping purposes. Families can ask us to delete their information at any time, except where we are required to retain a signed waiver.

Your choices

Email info@23adbasketballclub.com to see what we hold about your athlete, correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. California residents have additional rights under state privacy law; we honor those requests the same way.

Photos and video

We photograph and film sessions, showcases and games, and we use those images on this website and on our social media. If you would prefer your athlete not appear, tell us in writing and we will keep them out of published material.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
